Yoga and Fitness Classes for Hurricane Relief

Kinected Pilates Center is offering an equipment circuit class* every Wednesday, 12-1 pm, now through 12/19, taught by studio owner, Matt McCulloch. $25/class; all proceeds will go to the Red Cross!

Kinected had also put together Pilates for a Cause: Red Cross, a hurricane relief effort on November 30th. They are rallying for a day of Pilates and will be offering three classes: body conditioning for dancers from 10-11:30 am ($18) with Kuan Hui Chew, all-level reformer* from 12-1 pm with Matt McCulloch ($35) and mat class with Kelly Kane from 2-3:15 pm ($18).

*prior experience on the equipment required; pre-registration recommended.


Broadway Dance Center is offering a week of benefit classes with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross. Donations will also be collected at the front desk and new or gently used warm clothing will be accepted through November 15. November 11–18, $15.


Alignyo is hosting four classes with celebrity instructors (like Kristin Mcgee and Tara Stiles) at Chelsea art gallery Sky Light West. The event will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. Thursday, November 15th: 10–11 am, 12:30–1:30 pm, 5:30–6:30 pm, 7:00–8:30 pm, $30. Lucille Roberts is offering a $5 American Red Cross Foundation Zumba Class on Thursday, November 14th at 7:15pm. A $5 donation is required to get in and 100% of the proceeds will go towards Hurricane Sandy Victims.
